It is ideal for knitting and crocheting socks, stockings or slippers or accessories such as leg warmers, which should be particularly resistant and yet comfortable, warm and breathable.

Our APU KUNTUR alpaca wool is produced in Peru under strict human-ecological standards - it comes from traditional animal husbandry and is guaranteed mulesing-free. Only the finest fibers meet our high quality standards and are used for our yarn.
You can see that – and you notice it when knitting. Try it yourself!

Superwash is a chemical treatment to remove the fiber flakes and then coat them with a polymer, which prevents the wool from felting and shrinking.
Be inspired by our sock wool made from alpaca and sheep's wool: wearing comfort, optical properties and technical advantages such as moisture regulation speak for themselves.
Alpaca is a smart fiber. As a hollow fiber, it has excellent thermal insulation properties. Thanks to its unique temperature balance, it is comfortable to wear in both winter and summer. It does not scratch or crease and is particularly suitable for sensitive and delicate skin. Sheep's wool makes this yarn particularly robust, especially when it comes to knitting socks.

Care Instructions: We recommend hand washing or dry cleaning. When washing in the machine, only wash on the wool cycle at 30 degrees Celsius and do not spin the machine. Then do not wring out the item and let it dry lying down. So you can enjoy your manual work for a long time.
